Building New Community Need Staff
Hey everybody,
This thread is a serivce request to those who wish to help out build a new community from scratch, as part of a network of sites that I own and run. It has been over six months since I started the last one, so it’s time to move on to the next one. Hopefully you can help on a volunteer basis. Any return to staff is via satisfaction of being part of the team, link backs to your site(s), ad spots sharing, and hopefully over time sharing advertising income.
Please read on if you believe you’re seriously interested, and eligible;
- The age of 16 or older
- Living in USA or Europe
- Speaking-, writing English well
- Licensed vBulletin Customer
- Has 7 hours free time a week
- Has experience with vBulletin and how to manage a community
- Ability to listen to me because my word will be final
- Ability to work in a team and be motivated to keep doing your best
I will be covering the costs of the domain-, hosting-, vbulletin-, and other license, service or product registrations and renewals, and will remain (sole) owner of the site. The staff (admins, super and normal mods) are part of the team and do not share ownership, their contributions will become ownership of the web site (unless specified).
Please apply before June 1st by sending an email to mrfloris@gmail.com with subject: Applying for staff position #856419, and as body the following information plus one or more positions. Please include the unique number, otherwise we will not receive your email. And yes, you can request multiple positions so we can make a better selection.
Your full name :
Your vBulletin.COM name :
Your email address :
Your age :
Your location :
Desired position : (just [x] check off below)
The following positions are wanted:
[] Administrator (front-end manager) (responsibility: team)
[] Administrator (back-end manager) (responsibility: configuration)
[] Super Moderator (community manager) (responsibility: team)
[] Super Moderator (forum manager) (responsibility: forums)
[] Super Moderator (social manager) (responsibility: SN chat/album/group/etc)
[] Moderator (on topic moderator) (responsibility: forum content)
[] Moderator (off topic moderator) (responsibility: forum content)
[] Moderator (blog moderator) (responsibility: blog content)
[] Moderator (pt moderator) (responsibility: reports/feedback)
[] Moderator (SN moderator) (responsibility: SN & groups)
[] Moderator (chat moderator) (responsibility: irc chats)
[] Poster (site posters) (responsibility: thread-, blog-, article-, etc writing)
Our web site will probably have a portal or frontpage for news/articles. And a forum index with easy overview. Our focus will be the community. Powered by additional sections, such as a bug tracker, suggestion box, site feedback/comments section, moderator tools, social networking tools (SN) such as sn-site submissions, group forums, personal groups, personal albums, a blog, a chat section, personal profile, etc, which will slowly be introduced to the community.
The topic of the site is in discussion and with the new staff we can make a final pick. So I can not yet disclose that.
I hope to hear from you soon, and that we can build a great team, a great site, and some great content and have a fun time.
