Time for some changes. The vBFans network is a single set of files and one installed instance of vBulletin. And using a plugin we can add and remove sites to the network. The user doesn’t have to register again and again. Very handy. But it’s time to review the setup. Here you can find additional info and a bit more detail: http://www.vbulletin-fans.com/blog.php?b=63
Basically we are looking at discontinuing the prostyle that I made, and we’re going to shut down a few of the linked forums, starting with vbulletin-language.com.
The ‘content’ is getting moved to the main vbfans forum, no data is loss. And the domain will become an alias.
It’s a bit of a shame. With resources, funding, dedication, and free time .. the site has a lot potential. Something we are lacking.
Anyway, I felt it was worth the mention on my blog for those who follow what I am doing.
