My original PS2 still works like a charm, I've never had a single problem with it. Yet, the new model--the slim version--is a hunk of junk. My xBox360 is under warranty as well, I need to get it in for repair. In fact, I need to check when the warranty is up. :S I started getting disc read errors occasionally with only Gears of War 2, and now I'm getting them every half an hour no matter what I play. With that hardware issue breaking them left, right, and center, it's been causing tons of problems with the console. You know, this is what happens when consoles get too advanced, I mean, I have not had a single problem with my PS2, and I've had it for years. Good that you finally got it repaired.
