An extra bottle of water

Once in a while I do something to improve my life, such as changing what I do, what I eat, how I live, etc. I do this with a test from Monday to Friday, and if I like it, extend this later in the year to a month. And perhaps make it a default behavior in the new year. It’s now a new year and one of those tests was a bottle of water every day. Instead of whatever I used to drink.

A week might not seem much, but try it yourself. Pick something, try it out, stick to it. From a Monday morning when you wake up, until the evening of Friday when you go to bed. Might not always be that easy as you might think.

Anyway, for me it was water and I had to get a few different bottles to see what I like best. And to be honest, what I drink now tastes better than what comes out of the tap. January has started and I want to at least do this for a month. So I got 30 bottles of water in the fridge now and have been taking one every day. So far so good.

It’s almost the end of this week and I actually like getting a refreshing cool drink without the sugar and bubbles. Hopefully this helps cleaning my body from toxins and get me off the soda a bit. And not to mention adds less sugar into my system. And become a habit, a new behavior. I have tried a few things last year, like changing to coffee, tea, juices, and they all had their pro/cons (tea being a clear winner by the way, but that’s for another post).

But the quickest and easiest and most affordable solution is just water. Either from my own tap or from a bottle. Either straight out water, or perhaps enriched with a bit of lemon or lime.

If you care about your body this might be something for you to consider doing. Tomorrow I will try to write about the difference between coffee/tea/juice/water/soda. So stay tuned.

Share with me if you drink water or solely coffee, or whatever. I am curious to hear if you put any thought into this.
